The snow has stopped and it's back in the double digits with our normal amount of wind. Both Gary and Griff were home today, but Griff is off visiting a friend for a few hours.
I saw my PCP and got the medical clearance for next week's procedures, although I am rethinking the central line because I'm getting cold feet about doing any treatment before I absolutely have to. My PCP agreed, as did Dr. P., last week.
I then spoke to my therapist about it and while she did not take a position, she said that once I get on the treatment train, it might be hard to jump off. We talked and talked about the 83 other things that are bugging me and I left feeling like I had relearned how to think for myself again, something that had gotten difficult lately.
Anyway, I still need to see my favorite doctor and have one more consult with the lymphoma folks before surgery day.
In other news, I'm getting my haircut as short as possible tomorrow because I may come home with drains and a showering ban after my armpit gets fixed. Then I need to figure out accessories for this weekend's Mom Prom. Speaking of accessories, I am working on this (not for Mom Prom, I think it will be a gift) while I'm on the recumbent bike:
It's a little cowl, knit out of laceweight cashmere and although knitting on the bike either slows down the knitting or slows down the biking (and I don't slow the biking) it is moving along and will never be too big to manage, like my sweater. That sweater still needs a second sleeve and the needle I'm using on the cowl is the one I need for the neckband, of course it is.
