If anyone is counting, it's been over 6 months since I finished knitting something.
A thing or two might have been started, but the moving put my mojo in limbo with most of my supplies.
However, the approach of cold weather may have fixed me because in addition to having two sweaters started, I actually started and finished a little project:
Stirrup Socks, and no, one is not longer than the other, I am standing askew due to the knee stiffness and the hip pain.
Do they look better here?:
It's so hard to photograph this much leg and without legs, they look like this:
Anyway, I used most of a skein of Collinette Jitterbug, on size 2 needles and I think they will help keep my legs from freezing this winter. The stirrup is just enough to keep them anchored inside boots and they are stretchy enough to fit over tights/leggings/skinny jeans:
Now that they are done, and my desire to knit all the things is in full force, I'm back to the red sweater and planning 4 sweaters in advance. There is also a bit of a hat crisis since my short hair and tiny head no longer look right in most of my handknit hats. This led to a discussion of beanies vs tams and somehow the cloche emerged as the victor.
So many patterns to consider, but it's Sunday and I will be in the car all day tomorrow*, so I'm going to take a knitting break and celebrate the return of the mojo with one of these:
* It's college visit time for Griffin and we are heading 3 hours out and no, it puts us no where near Connor.
