I am not she.
Even if Cookie seems to think that I can start and stop the rain.
What I can do, is be prepared for whichever way the wind might blow.
We were ankle deep in snow for a few days, then had a thaw, followed by rain and then yesterday, a windstorm that had gusts of 65 mph.
Living here, and knowing that winter can be harsh, means not leaving your crap lying about.
But those awful neighbors of mine (who have not had any offers on their up for sale house) must not know this.
I spent last night listening to all sorts of odd noises in the wind, and today:
And all day long, nothing has been picked up or pulled out of the water.
Anyways, it's going to be very cold tonight and even colder in Elmira where I owe a friend of Connor's a warm hat. The hat is drying/blocking and it's companion scarf is done - photos tomorrow, I just thought you would enjoy a little CB update.
Is that the canoe they stole from a neighbor?

I love that the canoe stayed on land and the playset went in the water. How long before the HOA sends them a nasty letter?

The CBs are very consistent. Hopefully they become more in need of $ and price their house to actually sell.
I think we're having similar weather. I spent 40 minutes chipping my car out of the ice this morning. It was a great arm workout.

So sorry that they are still there, but I shouldn't be surprised. They are the CB's after all. At least nothing seems to have damaged others to much. (Hoping this is true.)

Really, Joan, did you expect anything different of the CBs? Stay warm and dry!!

We're having the odd weather too. Warm, cold, rainy, windy but nothing consistent. My Chumbuckets (who live next door) have moved out and someone is rehabbing the house for sale. First they had to clean it all out. Several dumpsters and several days worth of cleaning out.
