Connor is fine! No signs of tumor regrowth, no issues in his head according to Dr. P.
We love that Dr. P.
After yesterday's appointment, we had lunch at Panos (waves to Peter) which is located on what we old folks call the Elmwood Strip and what the hipsters now want to call the Elmwood Village. Gary takes issue with the name change and I remind him that it was just the West Side when I lived there as a kid.
Anyways, Connor ate enough for 3 people. Including dessert:
It was nice getting a break from home because, for the past few days, Jim and his sidekick Lou, have been painting the spare room and my bathroom. These rooms were still the grayish beige that they were when we moved in almost five years ago, so it was high time to add some color:
(love the new color - especially the lighter toned ceiling)
But painting is disruptive and messy. It's almost finished and I'd like it finished, even if I just gave Jim an out on coming by today.
That's because the weekend is full. This evening is the Mother/Son Social with Griffin and tomorrow, Connor preforms at 2PM* and then needs to be back in Elmira**as soon as he can. Plus last night was the first of Ski Club for Griff, meaning I had to pick him up at midnight. All of this late night driving is doable, but it takes it's toll on me.
Our weather has been cold then warm then warmer then colder and I'm finding it tough to settle into anything that passes for a routine. By mid week, I'd better be back on track!
* He's back in a workshop/musical thing that he did 18 months ago. The schedule was almost right for his break and he's loved seeing friends and all. Plus he feels great after three weeks of rest.
** Classes start on Monday, he gets a week off in February and then in April, but that's it until the end of May. He's taking 21.25 credit hours through April and then 6 more in Term III, so I don't see much down time for him anyway.
Ooh, Panos! Yum.

Wonderful news!
And yes, this changeable weather is making it difficult to figure out what to do next.

Love seeing that healthy, happy kid. (Even as I fear the grocery bills I have ahead of me.) Drive safe!

The best news, excellent!
We found Elmwood Ave. by chance one evening when we were looking for a restaurant. Will have to remember to check out Panos one of these days.

SO, so glad to hear the good news about Connor. I've been hoping and praying for good results. We're having warm, then cold, then warm weather down south as well. I like the warm days, but it makes the cold ones seem colder to me.
