Today, Griffin finished his latest assignment for art class:
It should be noted that Al the tree guy is married to Griffin's art teacher.

Something about pencil drawings makes me sigh deeply and feel rested. Bravo, Griffen. It is a splendid piece. I think it's the varied textures...whatev, I'm sighing deeply.

On a botanical note - the established tree will give some shelter to the smaller trees while they establish themselves. Shelter can never be underestimated in nature.
