A lot of my friends are writing posts of thanks today. It goes without saying that I have a lot to be thankful for and I have tried (and failed) to write a post that expresses my gratitude for how significant the love and friendship that this blog and the friends that I have made through it, mean to me.
The past few years have been a long rollercoaster ride and at every dip, turn and peak, I've been able to share my thoughts and craft with a beautiful group of friends. I am a lucky woman, I have a terrific family, I live with little material worry, I see beauty everyday and the things I feared a few years ago did not do me in. I have the means and the time to create things.
I get to learn new things:
I know that I can learn anything, do most things, teach a few things and that I don't have to look far for love or help or a laugh.

*We heard from our Pia today, she misses us and is still planning to be back next July. Yay!
That Carole needs to stop being so shy.

I'm thankful to you for filling my day with joy with each post you write, for allowing me into your life and letting me know that I actually have a chance that my sons could possible grow up to be even half as nice and helpful and considerate as your sons. You are a great mother, wife, and most of all an inspiration to me!

There are so many things around me I am thankful for everyday. I am working on being mindful of these. I'm a work in progress so some days are better than others.

I'm glad you decided to post thankful things today, too. I didn't email you when I emailed the others because I thought it would be weird for you to get an email from me when we don't even "know" each other. I do read your blog every day, though, and I enjoy it very much.
