Hi! Remember me? I'm the one who used to take care of you.
And then my two children became three and we have been busy having adventures and you have been left to take care of yourself.
The first Rose of Sharon
My new PeeGee Hydrangea
The Buddleia that may be too big for this spot.
The Tardiva that is being dwarfed by these:
Hibiscus that may bloom this week.
Or completely take over the house.
Even so, thank you garden for getting along without me.
Keep up the good work. See you in 12 days or so.
xoxo
Beautiful, beautiful as always. Marilyn

It's gorgeous. I miss north-east plants!
I'm not really complaining - there are wonderful things to grow here too - I just miss some of my faves.

After seeing these pictures, there's no way I can call what I do gardening. Scratching in the dirt or growing weeds, maybe, but not gardening. It's lovely, Joan.

Wow, so pretty. How can you even bear to go inside, asshats or not?

Lovely, Joan! Your garden is more forgiving than my garden. :D

It's because you have spent so much time in the garden that it keeps on without you. You raised it right!

Gorgeous! Perhaps the Tardiva is helping to block the neighbors? Maybe it (or the hibiscus) needs to go where it can help block the tent people. You have an extra set of hands around... maybe she'll like gardening. :D

So beautiful.
A well loved/tended garden like well loved/tended children can survive being left on their own for a while.
