Because this thing is ginormous:
Finished (and very gently blocked) size is 24"x80". Had I stretched it at all, it might have ended up bigger.
I did the five full chart repeats and the end patterns do not match. You can only tell if you look at them along side each other, and even then, it's not that noticeable:
I'm totally pleased with it. I loved the pattern and the yarn.
When I soaked it this morning, the dye left the water bluer than blue, but the color was not affected.
I smoothed it out on my blocking tiles and it did not require pinning, the smoothing was all it took.
I will wear this as a scarf, it's long enough to wrap around my neck more than once. As much as I'm loving our nice 70+ degree weather, I feel bad that this one will be put away for a few months.
Maybe it can hang out on the porch for a while.
It's gorgeous!
Thank you so much for knitting this pattern with me. I'm not sure I would have survived if it wasn't for you.
What's next? :D

Gorgeous! Everyone's going to be entirely too blown away by the wonderfulness of it to worry about whether or not the pattern matches on both ends :)

Wow! It is so lovely and the blue is wonderful, Joan. It is *almost* a shame it is getting warmer. ;D

Another beautiful lace piece. Let it live on the porch for a while for all to admire.

That blue is divine. I have to go look at this pattern and then check the stash, I think I have some cashmere that would work.....

Absolutely stunning. It looks great on the porch - I'm sure you will find a cool evening (or a theater?) soon so you can wear it.
